Yorkshire Day MADL Donation To 7 Local Causes

The Proudfoot Group has handed out a huge £1,650 to seven worthy causes in the local community as part of their Yorkshire Day Celebrations at Newby Store

The independently run stores located in Newby, Eastfield and Seamer districts raised the monies through their membership with Nisa and its Making A Difference Locally charity, where money is raised by customers purchasing specific products in store. 

This time round, £250 has been donated to 739 Air Cadets, Scarborough Squadron, Friends of South Cliff Gardens, Gallows Close Centre, Scarborough & Bridlingon Motor Neurone Disease Support Group, Autism Plus, Scarborough, Filey and District Guide Dogs for the Blind and £150 to St Peters Church, Willerby, Staxton.
